OUR CURRICULUM
Our top priority is to ensure our students are technologically inclined which is why
we lay great emphasis on our ICT (Information and Communication Technology)
scheme and ensure technology is embedded in all lessons.
Students receive the best education possible which is why the New World
Curriculum has been built to cater to all student’s growth and development who
will conveniently measure up with their global counterparts.
NWES students are immersed in a ten-subjects program that includes the core
subjects (Mathematics, English Language, Science, ICT and Humanities).
Our curriculum adheres to various national standards which cater to different students learning abilities.
Mathematics is taught with a more intense and reasoning method where their analytical, logical, and mental reasoning skills are developed.
The English Language is taught with a focus on building students speaking, reading, and writing skills using multiple renowned and proven reading and writing programs.
Science is taught using all scientific disciplines including technology to train students to think like scientists through project -based and inquiry methods.
Students learn to ask questions, research, and carry out experiments. The impact of ICT in our society cannot be over emphasized hence the intense desire to teach students ways to process, understand and apply information in a way to proffer solutions to daily needs.
Humanities broaden an understanding of the world by learning about human activities and achievements in the past and present. Also, emphasi zes on citizenship, political, social, and environmental issues and the values underpinning their society and the global society at large.
In addition to the core subjects, we have creative arts and music, whose aim is to develop creativity and inner talents. Students also have the opportunity of learning a foreign language and one native language to promote healthy community interactions.
